Question 1

Does it really vacuum and wash in one pass, or do I have to go over the floor twice?

Accepted Answer

One pass. The PW11 Pro Max vacuums up dry debris and washes the floor at the same time, picking the dirty water straight back into its tank. A dust sensor reads how dirty the floor is and adjusts suction and water on its own, so there is no second mop and no dirty bucket.

Question 2

Can I use it on wood and laminate, or only on tiles?

Accepted Answer

It is safe on sealed wood, laminate, vinyl, tiles and marble. The smart water-spray system releases only as much water as the floor needs, so surfaces are never soaked — and because it vacuums the water back up, floors are left barely damp and dry within a few minutes.

Question 3

Do I have to clean the roller by hand after every use?

Accepted Answer

No. Drop it onto the charging base and press self-clean: the base washes the roller and then dries it with hot air, so there is no mildew and no damp-mop smell. You just rinse out the dirty-water tray now and then.

Question 4

How long does the battery last, and can I replace it?

Accepted Answer

Up to 40 minutes of floor-washing on a charge (about 80 minutes in handheld vacuum mode), from a removable 4600 mAh battery that recharges in 4–5 hours. The battery clicks out, so you can keep a spare from our Spare Parts range to double your runtime.

Question 5

Can it pick up wet spills and dry mess together — like juice and cereal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is exactly what it is built for. Liquid spills and dry debris are handled in the same stroke, and a manual water boost gives sticky, dried-on messes an extra burst.

Question 6

Can I add my own floor detergent, and is the water hygienic?

Accepted Answer

Yes — add any low-foam floor cleaner to the clean-water tank, or use the included solution. The water tank is treated with silver ions to keep the water and roller hygienic between cleans.

Question 7

Can it also clean carpets, sofas and the car?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Switch to the carpet brush roll for dry vacuuming rugs and carpets, or lift out the handheld unit (about 1.5 kg) with the crevice and upholstery tools for sofas, mattresses, stairs and car interiors. It also lies flat at 180° to reach under beds and furniture.

Question 8

Is it genuine, and is it covered by a warranty here in Mauritius?

Accepted Answer

Yes. JIMMY.MU is the authorised exclusive distributor in Mauritius, so every unit is genuine JIMMY stock held locally — backed by a 2-year motor warranty plus 1-year electrical-parts cover and serviced by our own team at the Floréal showroom.

Question 9

How does delivery work, and how can I pay?

Accepted Answer

We deliver island-wide for a flat MUR 300 — and it is free from MUR 4,000. Pay whichever way suits you — MCB Juice, cash on delivery or bank transfer — or come and collect in person at our Floréal showroom.

Question 10

Where do I get spare rollers, filters and batteries later?

Accepted Answer

Right here. Rollers, filters and spare batteries are stocked at our Floréal service centre, so replacements and after-sales support are looked after locally by our team in Mauritius.
